Welcome to William Byrd Middle School !  We are an excited building of students, teachers, and staff.  Every day is filled with learning, laughing, activity, lunch, and extra-curricular events.  The information in this website is provided for you to have easy access to many parts of our school.

While the internet provides quick interaction and easy ways to get information, I would like to encourage your participation at our middle school this year.  Being the new principal at WBMS, I am already encouraged by my experience here.  Getting to know you is important to me and I look forward to working with you in many ways.  Hands-on experiences are most often the best method for learning.  Your participation in your child’s middle school experience is important.  

Quarterly newsletters will be mailed home this year.  The newsletter will be available online as well as PTA information and other important information.  We are striving daily to improve communication.  We welcome your suggestions!
