The Service Learning classes of WBHS are bringing about awareness of the horrible issue of domestic abuse. The Salvation Army's Turning Point Shelter has lost federal funding and the shelter's mission is to help women and their children who have been abused, are homeless, or unemployed due to domestic violence. How can you help? By coming out next Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7pm to the WBHS auditorium to see Tyler Hurley and 14 other beautiful Terrier men compete in heels, gowns, lipstick and more for the title of Mr. 'Merica. Admission is only $5.00. You are guaranteed a hilarious time!
Attention anyone interested in indoor track there will be an informational meeting in Coach Royal's Room, Room 247, on Wed. Oct 29th at 8:05. All those interested need to attend and to try and have their physicals filled out before the meeting. All those interested in track need to attend or see Coach J.
Tickets for the Friday night football game will be on sale beginning Friday morning at 8:30.
We are doing the United Way Fundraiser. We are asking first blocks on B days to donate money. The class giving the most per person will receive a free Breakfast. Money will be collected on October 22nd, 24th and 28th.
The next Drama Club Meeting is October 24, 2014. We will be discussing the Holiday Talent Show and Christmas Parade Float. We will meet in the auditorium from 3:30-4:30.
Attention all Advanced PE Students: Last day to turn in signed field trip form and money is this Friday, October 24th. No forms will be taken after the deadline.

Come to Mr. 'Merica, a womanless beauty pageant on Thursday, Oct 30th, at 7pm in the WBHS auditorium. Fifteen of of your male classmates will compete in evening gowns and heels, lip synching, and interview questions. We need you to come and share this hilarious event to help raise money for the Turning Point Shelter for Women.

Have you applied to Radford University? If so you can come by the Career Center to sign up for Radford's on-site application review. An admissions counselor from the college will sit down with you and go through your application face to face. You will know that day whether or not you have been accepted. Apply and turn in all necessary paperwork and scores by Nov. 3rd, 2014. See Mrs. Sartell to get a pass.
