Congratulations to our Marching Band! The Marching Terriers competed this past weekend at the Cougar Classic in Stuart, VA. The Terriers brought home awards for 1st Place: Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion and Marching along with 2nd Place: Music and General Effect. The Band received a Superior Rating and 2nd Overall in Class 3A. Congratulations for a great performance!
Leos: Please bring in your bag of candy for the Rescue Mission, and remember our pizza/pack party on October 21st after school. You will not be able to participate in the party pack without already having brought in a bag before the 21st. See Mrs. McGrath in Room 214 to pay your dues if you have not already done so.
All Speech and Debate Team members who want to attend the SWVAFL invitational need to turn in their paperwork and dues to Mrs. Puckett by Monday, Oct. 20th.
The Reindeer Club will have a brief meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd after school in Room 157. See Mr. Donahue beforehand if you cannot attend.

We are doing the United Way Fundraiser. We are asking first blocks on B days to donate money. The class giving the most per person will receive a free Breakfast. Money will be collected on October 22nd, 24th and 28th.
The next Drama Club Meeting is October 24, 2014. We will be discussing the Holiday Talent Show and Christmas Parade Float. We will meet in the auditorium from 3:30-4:30.
Come to Mr. 'Merica, a womanless beauty pageant on Thursday, Oct 30th, at 7pm in the WBHS auditorium. Fifteen of of your male classmates will compete in evening gowns and heels, lip synching, and interview questions. We need you to come and share this hilarious event to help raise money for the Turning Point Shelter for Women.
It's time to order your Dog Pound Shirt! The order forms are located in the front office and Mrs. Conner's office. Payment has to be made at the time the order form is submitted. No extra shirts will be ordered. Last day to order is October 17th. Order date has been extended to October 22nd.
Attention anyone interested in Indoor Track: There will be an informational meeting in Coach Royal's Room (247) on Wednesday, October 29th at 8:05. All those interested need to attend and have physicals filled out before the meeting.

Have you applied to Radford University? If so you can come by the Career Center to sign up for Radford's on-site application review. An admissions counselor from the college will sit down with you and go through your application face to face. You will know that day whether or not you have been accepted. Apply and turn in all necessary paperwork and scores by Nov. 3rd, 2014. See Mrs. Sartell to get a pass.
