Attention Football Players: The banquet will be held on Dec.1st at Woodland Place. If you plan on attending, you need to stop by Coach Highfill's room and pick up a form to fill out.
Ms. Goin is now taking orders for Globalize 13 t-shirts. The cost is $10.00. Orders must memade by December 10th. The shirts will be delivered after Winter Break.
Attention Book Club Memebers: our next read is The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.We will meet after school on Friday, December 19th in Room 118 from 3:30-4:30. Don't forget to bring snacks to share and a book for the Holiday Book Exchange. See Ms. Oliver if you have questions.
The winter weight lifting program for Football and Boy's Soccer will start Monday, December 1st after school until 5:30. You must have a physical to participate.
WBHS Archery competed in a tournament at Northside sweeping the top three spots in High School Girls division and 2out of 3 medal positions in High School Boys. Samantha Wilson shot a score of 248 to take the gold medal followed by Nikki Mathis with a 246 and Savannah Biggs with 239. Daniel Wilhem shot a first place score of 267, and Jordan Baker a 261. Archery will practice Sunday 1:30-4 in the auxiliary gym. Practice is open to any WBHS or WBMS student. Come hit the bullseye!

Attention Seniors: The Senior/Faculty Games will be held on Dec. 19th. Interest meetings will be held at 3:25 on Nov. 19th and 8:00am on Nov. 20th in Room 251. You MUST attend one of these meetings to play. If you cannot attend, see Mrs. Acker before the meetings.
If you have lost something, come by the office and check Lost & Found. Items not claimed by Thanksgiving break will be donated to the Rescue Mission.
Leos: The Angel Tree posters are outside Room 214--Come sign up for an item for one of our Angels, or donate a few dollars to a bicycle for them. Our wrap party will be December 9th after school in Room 214. Please bring your item to Room 214 by December 9th at the LATEST.

If you have earned Dual Enrollment credit, please make sure that you have your Virginia Western Transcript sent to the college of your choice as soon as possible. You may pick up the form from Guidance, or print the form from the link on the Guidance Page on the WBHS website. Once you have completed the form, you can have your guidance counselor fax the form to Western, or you can mail the form to Western.
Seniors who operate their own business are eligible to receive a 2015 NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award . You must apply by Dec. 18th, 2014. See Mrs. Sartell in the CCCenter for a pass.
If you are a Sophomore and want to improve your leadership skills you may want to attend the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership or HOBY State Leadership Seminar. See Mrs. Browning in Guidance for more information.
