Marsha House - Coordinator of Guidance and Counseling Services
William Byrd High School offers a comprehensive guidance program for all students in grade 9-12. Through organized events, students may meet with their counselor in a variety of settings: classroom guidance presentations, testing/SOL checks, One Day Registration, and course credit checks. A large percentage of students have much more contact with counselors through individual or group meetings and career/college planning. We are here to serve our students and parents and welcome your visits and phone calls!
Reminder: All college/educational visits need a written note from a parent/guardian at least two days in advance taken to the attendance office to receive a Prior Notice form to be signed by teachers for the absence to be excused.
Please call us (890.3090) if you have any questions about schedules and/or dates for upcoming
events. We want the 2011-2012 school year to be your best ever!
