Dear Group,
The principal of our school has decided that each class gets to choose its own field trip this year.  Our grade can go anywhere in the state of Virginia, as long as the costs are within reason.  Your mission is to identify which of the five Virginia regions will provide the best field trip.
In order to pick the best region, you'll need to find information on the following:

• Features of interest within the region.  The features can be historic or geographic in nature. 

• Distance to the Field Trip Destination.  Your group will have to come up with directions, mileage, and travel time.

• Expenses.  What other costs are associated with your field trip?
  

  Using information that you've gathered, your group will create an advertisement and convince the class that your field trip is the best.
