Going for the Gold

Marathon High School is named after a famous place in Greek history.  An important battle took place at Marathon in ancient times.

Yesterday, the school was the host of an important track meet.

All the events took place at the stadium behind the school.

Regina was fast enough to compete in four different races.

She earned a victory in each race.  In her last race, she set the record for the fastest time ever.

During the award ceremonies after the races, Rebecca stood on the top step again and again.  She won four gold metals.
