The Code of Virginia requires each school system to prepare and post the proposed average per-pupil cost for public education for the coming year, estimates for the current year and actual data for the previous year. Our per-pupil cost is available at this link http://www.rcs.k12.va.us/budget/documents/August2014.pdf or see the attached document.
Fall Sports Schedules can be found on the Athletics link at the top of this page.
Please reference this map noting the changes in regard to the gates that will be open for our football games at Bogle Stadium. As of September 4, 2013, only the two gates on the opposite ends of the home side will be open for entering the stadium. The gates on the visitor’s side will not be open. The problem arises because neither Cave Spring High School or Hidden Valley opens these visitor-side gates for their games. The home side has 3 areas to park (see scanned map) which offers adequate parking for spectators.
Keep up-to-date on the athletic programs at NMS and NHS. Follow this link to the Booster Club website: www.northsideboosterclub.com

- The Northside Middle School culture is based on collaboration between the teachers, staff, administration, students, and school community. We strive to create a safe learning environment that is conducive to student learning and the creation of positive relationships. The Norsemen Code, which is based on reinforcing positive student behaviors and correcting inappropriate student behaviors, is the primary tool to accomplish our goal.
