W. E. Cundiff Teacher Wins VAFEPA Award

Margaret Ferguson, Title l teacher at W.E. Cundiff Elementary School, has been named the Region 6 winner of the 2008 George H. Irby Award given by the Virginia Association of Federal Education Program Administrators.

The $500 award will be used to implement Mrs. Ferguson's project, “ Tales and Tapes,” for the students at W.E. Cundiff.

The award was presented at the Hotel Roanoke during the annual VAFEPA conference held during October.
