Two Schools Host "Herma's Readers" Program


For Virginia Tech head coach, Frank Beamer, education is near and dear to his heart.  Beamer has begun a statewide program called “Herma’s Readers”, in honor of his late mother who was an elementary school teacher.

As part of this program, Virginia Tech players and coaches will be coming to two Roanoke County elementary schools (Back Creek Elementary and Cave Spring Elementary) to read to students on Friday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to noon.
