Bush named part-time assistant principal at Glenvar High School
Carrie Bush has been named by the Roanoke County School Board as the new part-time assistant principal at Glenvar High School, effective July 1. Bush, who currently serves as an instructional coach at William Byrd Middle School, first joined Roanoke County Public Schools nine years ago as a math teacher at William Byrd High School.
Bush will serve as a part-time assistant principal and also as a part-time math teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree from Radford University.
“Carrie will be a welcome addition to the staff at Glenvar High School,” said Roanoke County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Lorraine Lange.
