It takes a long time for the machines to dig so deep and to move so much dirt.

Is this the school's new swimming pool? No, it is the retaining pond  to hold rain water runs off the building and the bus driveway.

The concrete pipes are unloaded from the truck...

...carried by the backhoe...

...and put by the large ditch.

The backhoe carries a smaller dirt compactor.

They are putting the big drain pipe in place.

Looking back towards the school, you can see they have covered the pipe so no one will fall in.
