Glenvar Elementary is a Title I school located in the western part of the Roanoke County School System, in Salem, Virginia. We have approximately 380 students in grades preschool through fifth. Our faculty is composed of eighteen regular education teachers; six resource teachers; a physical education teacher; a music teacher; an art teacher; a librarian; a reading coordinator; and a guidance counselor. We have nine instructional assistants who help with our instructional program. Glenvar Elementary has an active PTA and Volunteer program.
