| Great News! Two Seniors Chosen to Take Part in the National K-12 Exhibition at the National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts Conference in Baltimore, MD in March.
Bailey G. and Jessica G. (both also accepted to VCU's art department) have had their ceramic work chosen for this juried show. Thousands of professional ceramic artists and college professors will be looking at their work. The two pieces will also appear on a poster that is mailed to art educators across the country. These two pieces also won awards at the regional Scholastic Art Awards (see below). Way to go, girls! |

| National Scholastic Art Award Winner
Cody Greene, a CVA student, won the American Visions Award at the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. He will walk across the stage at Carnegie Hall in NYC to receive his award. There will also be workshops with NYC artists for the winners that week. In addition, his artwork will be on exhibit at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, DC from June to August.
