Art Club

Art Club it a great way to express your creativity and work alongside other artists in the school. You can meet new people, learn a lot about the role of arts in society, and have tons of fun thinking outside the box.

The fee is only $7.00, and you don’t have to be in an art class to join. The meetings are not mandatory and usually meet once a week, right after school for 45 minutes to an hour.

A Sample of 2004-2005 activities:
- Create the Art Club Float for Homecoming
- Make Ornaments for the National Holiday Tree
- Make gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week
- Create a Winter Coloring Book for “Toys for Tots”
- Decorate the CSHS lobby for winter
- Sponsor an Angel Tree child
- Have Artist – Themed Parties with fun art activities
- Help with the Renaissance Faire

National Art Honor Society

The purpose of the National Art Honor Society is to achieve high standards in all areas of art and bring art education to the attention of both school and the community. To be a member you must be in grades 10-12 and maintain scholastic art achievement.

The Cave Spring NAHS programs for this year include:
- Visiting artists
- Children’s workshops
- Art advocacy
- Fund raising
