C/T K-2.1.a Identify the computer as a machine that helps people at school, play, and work. Observe teacher using a Child-Friendly Search Engine Introduce drawing software (Kid Pix, Kidspiration, AppleWorks Drawing, etc) Participate in Internet Safety Activities Resources C/T K-2.3.a* Know the school rules for using computers. Resources	C/T K-2.4.a Demonstrate respect for the rights of others while using computers. Resources C/T K-2.4.b Understand the responsible use of equipment and resources. Resources C/T K-2.1.b Demonstrate the ability to perform a variety of tasks; * Turning a computer on and off * Starting and closing programs * Successfully follow a hyperlink * Operate the Internet Back Button Resources
3rd Nine Weeks	4th Nine Weeks
C/T K-2.3.c Understand the basic principals of the ownership of ideas Resources C/T K-2.2.b Use multimedia resources such as interactive books and software with graphical interfaces. Observe Teacher operating a Multimedia Slideshow (PowerPoint, AppleWorks Slideshow, Kid Pix slideshow, Photo Story, etc) Participate in a digital image activity Resources	C/T K-2.7.c Demonstrate proficiency in the ability to create and print documents Successfully operate drawing software Locate and operate the following keys on the keyboard: Space bar, Enter/Return, Backspace, Delete, Shift Resources
