About Us
Cave Spring Elementary has a history that is rich in tradition and memories. Situated on 10.86 acres of land in southwest Roanoke County, the school has a warm, inviting atmosphere and takes pride in the contributions it has made to the students and families that it serves. Cave Spring Elementary opened in January, 1962 with 20 classrooms, a library and cafeteria. In 1971 a gymnasium was completed. A kindergarten wing was added in 1987 and in order to meet the needs of a growing student body, a new library was built in 1994.
