Grade levels will send home conference request forms and RSVP for dinner

Dear Families,

As you are aware, the School Board has voted to relocate our program to William Byrd Middle and Northside Middle.  Students who remain in our program will attend one of these 2 locations.  All Byrd attendance area students will go to William Byrd while all Hidden Valley, Cave Spring, Glenvar and Northside students will attend Northside. 

Although Hidden Valley, Cave Spring and Glenvar students will still be “students” in their home schools they will attend classes at our program in the Northside Middle location.  All students are eligible to participate in sports and activities in their home schools.  However, since students from these three schools will attend school at Northside you are invited to attend meetings and students may participate in social events at the school. 

Naturally, all 8th graders should attend the orientation meetings at their home high schools. 

Parent orientation meetings are being held throughout the county.  You are encouraged to attend the meeting where your child will attend school.  This meeting will provide much information about electives and programs for the coming school year.
