Academics

CMS provides an academic remediation program for students who are in need of additional academic instruction primarily in the area of reading. CMS  provides an all day program for students in grades 6, 7, and 8. All students will participate in electives and Physical education. 

One additional program is housed at Northside Middle School.  A middle school age day treatment program is available for identified students and is run collaboratively by Roanoke County Public Schools and Blue Ridge Behavioral Health.
