     The physical education program is unique since total growth and development, including physical, mental, social, and emotional aspects, are integrated to form the core of this curriculum area. To meet the needs of all students at the elementary level, the physical education program provides for individual differences in children and affords the opportunity for each child to achieve success in physical activity to the extent of his capabilities. The emphasis of our program is on the sequential development of motor skills and the promotion of positive attitudes about physical activity.
