Digital & Web Design I

In Digital & Web Design, students develop proficiency in using desktop publishing software to create a variety of printed and electronic publications.  Students use word processing as a means of importing text into desktop publishing publications and incorporate journalistic principles in layout and design.  Students work in a Windows environment using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, paint programs, CD-ROM packages, scanners, and digital cameras in completing their business publications, web sites and multimedia presentations. All students will have a digital portfolio featuring their work at the end of the course.Students will also compete in regional, state, and national  FBLA competitions.

  • 10th-12th grade
  • Keyboarding
  • IT Fundamentals recommended

Learn to design and create advanced desktop published and multimedia projects, design and create Web sites, relate project applications to business and industry, and develop proficiency in public presentations.

  • Digital & Web Design I
