HVHS Live It Campaign

Live It - Your Choice:

The goal of this campaign is to unite the HV athletic teams and the student body. Live It is promoting good character, citizenship, leadership and healthy behavior.

How it works:

• The students will first make the choice to participate - in which they are given a band that says "HV Live It Your Choice". They will then be told of the rules and they will sign a pledge.

• Athletes that would like to participate will be given a sweat band that has a Titan symbol on it to wear for practice or games. The athletes are required to let their coach know they are participating in the campaign, and these players will also sign a pledge.

PRIZES!!!

• For student of the week:
  • A student's name will be drawn from the pledge box.
  • If the student has complied with the rules and is wearing the band they received, they will get a prize.
  • The prizes vary widely but include $100 gift cards.
• For athelete of the week:
  • Coaches, in season, will nominate a player of the week.
  • The names will go to the athletic director, Chris Morris, and then he will blindly choose a name from the nominations.
  • The players name that was chosen will receive a T-shirt.
  • Note: Athletes may also participate in the student aspect as well.

At the end of the school year, there will be a grand prize drawing. This will be only for the people who had won prizes before, and this prize will be even bigger!!
