Other Information:

The 2008-2009 school year is the first year this class is being offered at any school in Roanoke County. This class uses Front Page as the development environment for creating web pages. While this class is currently listed as an art course in reality it is a collaborative effort between the Art department (design and photography skills), the Business and Marketing Departments (Marketing the school to other individuals), and the Math department (computer expertise) to create the best possible web site. In an effort to do something that is useful, instead of simply an exercise, this class will focus on the school's web page. The class will redesign the web site from top to bottom, create complete and accurate material for the static pages (pages that only change once or twice a year) and create / update information that changes frequently. (Much of the data on the web site changes daily.) The beauty of this class is that it is very practical as well as educational. This class is open to students from sophomores to seniors.
