Cave Spring Knights!

Due to the number of snow days missed, Cave Spring High School will cancel all remaining high school parent registration appointments. Counselors will meet with students individually when school is in session and send all registration paperwork home for parent approval. Parents are more than welcomed to call counselors with registration questions and concerns.

BANDFEST TO BE HELD MARCH 27TH 7PM at Northside High School. You may go to preventioncouncil4youth.org for an application.

There will be a meeting February 15, 2010 at 6pm at the school for anyone interested in helping with this years awards. If you can help a lot or a little and cannot make the meeting please contact Lisa Swaffar at msswaff @aol.com or 989-5177.

Reminder that the deadline to turn in forms for volunteer service is March 18, 2010. This is not sent to colleges by the Guidance office so make sure your keep a record for your resume.

Beginning September 8 and running through May 27, we will offer students after-school remedial help in preparation for SOL testing. Any student who has not been successful with an End-of-Course SOL test, or who needs further assistance in specific skills/content necessary to pass SOL tests, is urged to attend. All sessions will run from 3:20 P.M. to 4:20 P.M. After-school remediation will not be offered on days that school is not in session (teacher workdays and exam days, etc.).
