Mrs. Carle has been married for 35 years and her husband is self employed.  
She has two beautiful children ages 26 and 30 and a granddaughter who is 6.
She has worked 27 years for Roanoke County.  She has taught every grade from
pre-school through sixth.  She enjoys working with the fifth graders as she 
has always found this age group to be so animated and fun.  She is a graduate 
of Findlay University and holds her Masters in Education from Radford University.  
Mrs. Carle enjoys being with her family, her parents and just 
being a "GaGa." In her free time, she enjoys her role as Queen and Cher.  
She also enjoys music, reading, the beach and her pool. 

Mrs.Hancock is a graduate of Liberty University.  She is currently working 
on her Master's of Education degree with a Math Specialist endorsement 
through UVA.  One of her other loves is science.  She enjoys working with a
hands-on approach to learning and implements this approach throughout her
curriculum.  Whether she is building equations, or creating chemical reactions,
her love of learning is contagious.  Mrs. Hancock has twelve years of experience 
working with 5th graders and truly enjoys working with this age group when she 
is not spending time with her family.  

Mrs. Ratcliff is a 1974 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor 
of Science degree in secondary education and received an elementary 
endorsement from UVA in 2003.  She joined the Bonsack Elementary staff that
that same year after working in Title One at Clearbrook Elementary since 1996.
She is the proud mother of two daughters, graduates of Radford and JMU.  
She and her husband, Dick, have filled their empty nest with two Cairn Terriers, 
Max and Lizzie.
